1. Uluwatu Temple

Uluwatu Temple is located in the southern tip of Bali, exactly in Pecatu Village, Kuta South District of Badung, Bali, Indonesia.pura uluwatu is one of Bali's nine key directional temples and one of the most spectacular ones in the entire island, perched on top of a steep cliff approximately 70 metres above sea level.

2. Goa Gajah Temple

The Goa Gajah ‘Elephant Cave’ is an archaeological site located in Bedulu Village, Blah batuh District, Gianyar Regency, Bali, approximately 27 km  from Denpasar.  The Elephant Cave Temple of Goa Gajah dates as far back as the 11th century. Built on a hillside where two streams met to form a river junction, the site was deemed sacred and the temple was built for prayer and enclosed meditation. It is a very worthy site for you to visit, here you will know about the history of the development of Hinduism in Bali and see the relics of statues and sites that are very historic and have high value in the development of the island of Bali. 3. Taman Ayun Temple

Bali Taman Ayun Temple is situated in Mengwi Village of Badung District, around 18 km to the west of Denpasar. It is a very beautiful temple, as the name tells (Taman Ayun means temple in a beautiful garden). In addition to its beauty, Taman Ayun Temple is also considered to have historical values, which makes the regional government of Bali suggests the UNESCO in 2002 that this temple is included in the World Heritage List. The Taman Ayun Temple complex occupies an area of 100 x 250 m2, comprising four different courts. The first one is called ‘Jaba’ or outer court – it is only accessible through one single entrance through a bridge over the ponds. In the first inner court, there is a small guardian shrine and a large ‘wantilan’ hall that the local communities usually use for gatherings. Taman Ayun Temple is indeed a temple that is very often visited by tourists when taking an afternoon trip to Tanah Lot Temple, because the Taman Ayun tourist attraction is located in Tabanan Village, so it is in the direction of Tanah Lot.

 

4. Tirta Empul Temple

Tanah Lot Temple is located in coastal side of Beraban countryside, Kediri sub district and Tabanan Regency. It is situated in 30 Km in west side of Denpasar town and about 11 Km in south side of Tabanan town. The Tanah Lot temple is built on the rock with 3 acre size and reachable in a few minute by walk, because it is just 20 meters from the coastal lip. Tanah Lot temple is an ancient Hindu temple dedicated to the gods of the sea.there lie two hindus temples, one is on top big rock and the other is on top of a cliff,Tanah Lot Bali also is a popular spot to see the sunset in Indonesia, and the Tanah Lot temple is also one of the most iconic sights in the whole country.

 

6. Besakih Temple

Besakih Temple is located in Besakih countryside, Rendang sub district, Karangasem regency, east part of the island. It is located in southwest side bevel of mount Agung, the biggest mounts in Bali. Bali Besakih Temple is the biggest Hindu temple in Bali which the local people call Pura Besakih. It owns beautiful view from the top of temple area where we can see the wide nature panorama until to the ocean so that way this temple is many visited by tourists from all over the world.

 

7. Ulun Danu Temple

The location of the Ulun Danu Beratan temple is on the west side of Lake Bedugul. The address is on Jalan Raya Bedugul, Candi Kuning, Baturiti District, Tabanan Regency. Ulun Danu Beratan Temple / Penataran Agung Temple Ulun Danu Beratan is one of the nine Khayangan Jagat Temples that surround the island of Bali, this temple is a place used by Hindus in Bali and Indonesia to worship God Almighty in his manifestation as "Tri Murti". (Brahma, Vishnu & Shiva). Ulun Danu Temple This complex consists of four sacred buildings. Linga Pura stands three stories high, and is a place of worship to Lord Shiva. Puncak Mangu Temple stands 11 stories high, and was built with dedication to Lord Vishnu. Pura Teratai Bang is the main temple, and Pura Dalem Purwa was built to worship Sang Hyang Widhi. This last temple is also a site for those who pray for fertility, prosperity and well-being.

 

8. Lempuyang Temple

Lempuyang Temple is located in Banjar Purwa Ayu, Tribuana Village, Abang District, Karangasem Regency, Bali, Indonesia.Located a top Bisbis Hill on Mount Lempuyang 1,175 meters above sea level. There are seven temples that make up Pura Pura Lempuyang, the largest and grandest is at the very top. Pura Lempuyang or Pura Lempuyang Luhur is one of the oldest and most revered temples in Bali, on par with Besakih (Bali's 'mother temple'). This temple is also believed to predate most of the Hindu temples on the island.To be able to reach Lempuyang Temple, which is at an altitude of 1,175 meters above sea level, you have to climb stairs which are quite fraudulent and unmitigated, the number of steps reaches 1,700 steps, but along the way to Lempuyang Temple you will be spoiled with beautiful views and lots of monkeys. the gray long tail that inhabits the cool forest there.
